Join Historic Jacksonville between 12 noon and 4 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month from May through September for our Victorian Days tours and activities at Jacksonville’s historic Beekman House Museum. These monthly 1-hour tours and related activities provide a glimpse into different aspects of life in the late 1800s as viewed through the lens of the gold mining town of Jacksonville and the Beekman family, the town’s most prominent and wealthiest pioneers.
Learn about Victorian medical practices, travel, architecture, fashion, etiquette, hobbies, and more! And on the third weekend in October, explore Victorian Mourning Customs in a special 2-day event.
All activities are at Jacksonville’s 1873 C.C. Beekman house, located at 470 E. California Street. Tours are offered every 15 minutes. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students. Lawn activities are free.
