Victorian Days

Join Historic Jacksonville between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the third Saturday of each month from May through October for our Victorian Days tours and activities at Jacksonville’s historic Beekman House Museum.  Each monthly 1-hour tour and related activities provide a different glimpse into aspects of life in the late 1800s as viewed through the lens of the gold mining town of Jacksonville and the Beekman family, the town’s most prominent and wealthiest pioneers.  Here’ our tentative 2018 schedule of Victorian themes:

In October we’ll host a special 2-day event:

10/20 & 10/21 – Victorian Mourning Customs“Honoring the Dearly Departed”

All activities are at Jacksonville’s 1873 C.C. Beekman House Museum, located at 470 E. California Street.  Tours are offered every 15 minutes.  Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students.  Lawn activities are free.

Private tours for groups of 10 to 15 can also be arranged at a cost of $15 per person.
