Historic Jacksonville introduces a new monthly program, Pioneer History in Story and Song, featuring guitar playing troubadour and story teller, David Gordon.
Gordon has forged a unique and versatile international career as an acclaimed singer, lecturer, author, historian, and recording artist. He has appeared as a tenor soloist with virtually every major North American symphony orchestra; he has performed 60 principal operatic roles with major U.S. and European opera companies; he is a prolific classical recording artist; he has spent 27 seasons as Dramaturge for the Carmel Bach Festival as well as pre-concert lecturer and director of the Festival’s Vocal Master Class; and he is a dedicated teacher, coach and vocal mentor.
